Swiss chard Pineapple Smoothie Ingredients
Swiss Chard – Swiss chard contains calcium, magnesium and potassium that help reduce blood pressure by releasing sodium out of the body. Swiss chard also contains antioxidant called alpha-lipoic acid that help manage diabetes by lowering glucose levels.

How to make Swiss chard Pineapple Smoothie ?
Take half avocado, 2 cups of diced pineapple, half lemon juice, handful of mint leaves, 2 cups of washed Swiss chard leaves without stems.
Also add 7 to 8 almonds to give extra boost to your smoothie.
If you are using basic blender then first make sure to blend Swiss chard with 2 cups of water. Once Swiss chard leaves are blended well, add other ingredients and blend until all ingredients are liquefied.
If you prefer thicker smoothie then you can add more avocado.

- 2 Cups Swiss Chard Swiss chard leaves without stems.
- 2 Cups Pineapple Diced pineapple
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1 Cup Mint Mint leaves
- 1 tbsp Lime Juice Usually half lime is enough for 1 tbsp
- 2 Cups Water
- 1/4 Cup Almonds Usually 7-8 pieces of almonds make 1/4 cup.
Instructions
- Take 2 cups Swiss chard leaves without stem. Usually two large leaves are equivalent to 2 cups.
- Add 2 cups of diced pineapple.
- Add half peeled avocado.
- Add 1 cup of mint leaves. Usually handful of mint leaves are equivalent to 1 cup.
- Add 2 cups of water
- Add 1/4 cup almond - approximately 7 to 8 pieces of almonds.
- Blend all ingredients for 50 to 60 seconds or until everything is liquified.
