Guava is one of the most popular tropical fruits, originated from Mexico or Central America. Guava has many good qualities and health benefits, fruit is loaded with vitamin C, vitamin A, niacin and it also contains folate.
Guava is seasonal so take advantage of these sweet-n-sour fruits as much as you can whenever they are available in fresh market. Scientists have proven that guava can help prevent cancer. Antioxidant rich guava fruit can boost immune power, improves thyroid health, and regulates blood pressure, plus help control diabetes.
I got these little tropical fruits at fresh market over the weekend! Yes, I was already planning for few green smoothies with guava for the week. Here we go, this is my first green smoothie with guava in combination with other tropical fruits blended with my favorite Kale!
